Mostly about Ethan

I'm going to apologize in advance for this post. Its been a while and it might get long, so bare with me. This year has been great so far, all 19 days of it. The past 6 days, Ethan has slept from about 10:30 to about 6:30. I know, its a miracle. But to make up for the wonderful sleep at night, he doesn't sleep at all during the day. It stinks but I'll take the sleep at night anyday. We finally took him to church the first of this month. It was a little nerve racking because there were a ton of people who were sick who just had to touch him. But don't worry, he didn't get sick. Work for Brian has been a little slow because of the holidays so we've been enjoying each other's company a lot more than usual the last few weeks. His schedule is finally picking back up again so we won't be seeing him as much. Ethan has been doing so much better the last few weeks with his colic. He doesn't cry near as much and as mentioned before, sleeps SO much better. We are so grateful to get a full night of sleep. It seems like its been forever but he's only ten weeks old. Its great! And I love it because when I go get him in the mornings, he is just so happy (after he's fed of course). He just smiles like crazy. I love it! The smiles make everything else worth it. He's starting to be able to recognize people too. He can tell who his dad is and he knows I'm the one who gives him food because whenever I get near when he's hungry, he gets really excited and starts to cry. I love it because he just can't seem to sit still for more than a second. He always has to be moving. He's grown so much in the last few weeks too. I can't believe how fast he changes. And its so funny when he's really tired and I'm holding him, he'll search around and find the tip of my chin and suck like crazy. It has to be the tip and it can't be anything else but my chin. I've tried my finger and his binky but they just don't work as well as the chin. Its so funny. I love the kid. He's just so dang cute!

Anyway, we're finally getting a bed. We've been borrowing Heather and Robert's old bed for the last few months for two reasons. 1. They needed a place to store it and 2. We really needed a bed. So we finally went to RC Willey and found my perfect bed. I'm super picky about the bed I sleep in so I got to choose the bed. Brian can sleep anywhere so it was completely my decision. I am super excited. It comes tomorrow and its a king too. Yay! No more nose bleeds from a husband who is a very aggressive sleeper. And we're getting the bed just in time too because our friends, Skyler and Braden, are coming up from Spanish Fork this weekend and are staying here. We're so excited! Anyway, this is getting very long and I still have pictures to add so enjoy!

Don't worry, he enjoys his baths a lot more now.

We wanted to see how long the binky would stay on his head, he moves so much. It actually stayed on for a few minutes and Ethan didn't even know it was there. We laughed pretty hard.

And there's the chin sucking. I don't know what it is.
