Is exactly that, the size of about a peanut (or grape). You may wonder how that can be as I wrote a blog about two weeks ago and the baby was that exact size. Well, we had our first ultrasound on Friday and found out it doesn't really matter when you have your last period. It doesn't mean that you got pregnant two weeks later. The doctor had put that I was due Dec. 8th on just about everything, then did the ultrasound. I just about slapped him when he said the baby was only 8 weeks instead of the 11 we thought. He then moved my due date to December 29th. Honestly? Right after Christmas?? He said he'd like to induce me the week before so that he'd for sure be there. Well, I don't know if that's going to happen but I can't believe I'm back to being 8 1/2 weeks. I thought I was so close to being done with this whole being sick thing. I was thinking I was really close to being out of the first trimester. Frustrating, to say the least. But huge blessing is that the baby's heartbeat looks really strong and it was moving and waving to us. It was so fun to see the little peanut in there. And on Brian's birthday none the less.
On to that. It was Brian's 27th birthday Friday. Happy birthday, my love!! We didn't really do anything Friday because Brian had a wonderful scout camp out that night. We did have some cheesecake with some friends Thursday night. I also surprised Brian by getting him his new favorite game, Monopoly Deal. Its the card version of Monopoly and much more fun than the board game (in my opinion). We did have the ultrasound on Friday, so that was kind of fun to see our baby for his birthday. Also, Emily, Brian's little sister, came over Friday night after Brian left to watch Leap Year with me. It was a lot of fun to have her over. Love girls' nights. Fantastic! All in all, good weekend. Just disappointing to go back a few weeks with the due date. Oh well! Baby's healthy, that's all that matters :)

I have to say how mad it makes me that he is already for his own convenience thinking about inducing you so he is there. What ever happened to letting a woman's body do it's thing! God made us correctly! I'm so excited that you guys are having another!
I didn't know you were pregnant (I've sorta been without internet for a while). Congratulations! Isn't it so funny how they calculate due dates? Every woman's cycle is so different and they think this generic time table will work. I just take it all with a grain of salt. It drives my family crazy that I say I am due the end of September instead of a date. Anyway, I hope you get feeling better soon. Maybe it won't last as long this pregnancy :) Oh, and I wouldn't agree to the inducing thing either. I had to be induced with Vanessa and it was horrible.
yea for lynette! Inductions are hard because your body isn't ready :(
I agree about the induction. I won't let him don't worry. I just want to go in to labor by myself before Christmas so I can have my baby home for Christmas Day. That would be fun. We'll see I guess :) This baby will come when its ready right?
