A Little of This and That

I haven't updated about our family for awhile. So here it goes. We haven't been up to much lately but the last week has felt like it was packed full of craziness. It is nothing really specific but we just were busy everyday doing the little stuff. Except Saturday was BJ and Kennie's wedding. It was such a beautiful day and wedding and reception. And they, of course, looked great! So happy and so glad to be married. Congratulations you two! We are so excited to have Kennie in our family!

Our kids did really well for what I was expecting. Especially Ethan. He was really happy and chill most the day. Until he got a blister on his heal from his shoes. Then it was like his foot had been cut off. He was so sensitive and cried for a LONG time. We love this kid but sometimes he can be super dramatic. Obviously he wouldn't put his shoes back on for the reception so we had to put his Croc knock-offs on, with no backs. Luckily he got distracted playing outside for the whole reception and didn't notice his foot again until the ride home. What fun!Ethan is such a funny kid. We absolutely love him to pieces. He is such a cute kid and is learning so fast. He is catching on to things everyday that I thought he was way too young to get. His new thing lately is that when we put him to bed, he teases us by saying "candy" in such a menacing voice. He knows he can't have candy before bed and that's why he says it. To tease us. I love it! It is so funny! And he is such a show-off. Anytime anyone comes over, he starts running around everywhere, running into things. Sounds crazy, I know, and it is. He is so full of energy and love and we just can't get enough of this kid! There are days, for sure, that I get to the end of my rope and lose my patience with him. Those days are more often than I would like and I need to work on that but I wouldn't give this time up for anything. Ethan is such a stud and is such a good boy, for the most part. I absolutely love his big personality! And I love that he loves me back :) He says "wuv you mom" and it melts my heart.

How can you not love this face!?

Brayden is growing so much and getting so big so fast. We absolutely love that kid. He has brought so much joy and happiness into our home. He is seriously the best baby ever. He cries only when he is tired. He smiles and laughs all the time. He is just so happy! We can't get enough. He rolled over a few weeks ago and did so for a few days and now the rolling is spontaneous. He's just content to do whatever. He has had rice a few times but isn't a huge fan. He'll eat it but then gag and cry. Brayden is such a great sleeper! He sleeps through the night, most nights. He takes great naps and loves to snuggle. He still nurses like a champ and is getting better at a bottle. I just love my little man so much! We couldn't ask for a better baby.
Brian is doing fantastic at work. They love him there. He does a really great job. I love seeing him happy with his work. He just finished his first semester back at school and did really well. He is excited to continue going this fall and hopefully finish his degree in the next 3-4 semesters. He has changed his major to business instead of architecture. I think he'll enjoy this a lot more. Much less math ;)

I am doing the same ol', same ol'. I love being home with my boys more than anything. I definitely have my days that I need an out but I wouldn't trade being a mom for any other job in the world. I had a wonderful Mother's Day, thanks to my hubby who takes such great care of me and the kids. Yummy breakfast and a day full of hanging with family. What more could I ask for? It was great! Life is good and we are just enjoying every minute!
