*This is going to be a long post with no pictures, just warning you!
So the last couple months have been a roller coaster ride to say the least. We have had a ton happen. Brian was laid off from yet another job. That makes 4 jobs in the last year. And none that he's quit or been fired from. Interesting how we are now just being affected by the economy but when it hits, it hits hard. He got laid off about a month and a half ago and just got a job with Lowe's doing their commercial sales. It is the branch out of Bountiful so that will be nice when he starts school. Speaking of, he's starting school, hopefully, this Spring semester at the U.
Oh and speaking of working in Bountiful and school in Salt Lake, we moved. Yes, we moved from our beautiful home in with my mom. It has been a very smooth move and transition but I have to say I sorely miss our home. It was a lot harder than I thought to leave it and know we weren't coming back. I also miss all my dear friends and neighbors, especially our families in Cache Valley. It is hard leaving a lot of people we love but we've moved closer to other family members and friends who are fantastic! And we are very excited to be on a new journey. Its nice to be moving forward and we're really hoping this job works out longer than just a couple months.
Ethan has been adjusting better than I thought. He's not one for change so I was a little worried that he'd have a hard time. He loves playing with all his cousins here and especially Heidi's baby, Maddi. He loves to just pet her head and share anything he has with her. Sometimes its a little much but at least he's sharing right??
On to Brian's job. He was called in for his first interview Wednesday of last week and they told him that he'd be notified for a second interview the following week. But they called back the next day and asked him to come in Friday for his final interview. He was a bit surprised seeing as how they told him it would be at least a week but he wasn't complaining :) He went in and they told him it was between him and one other guy and they'd let him know. They didn't say when so the weekend was a bit stressful. They called Monday night at about 9:30 to have him come in for a job offer. Hallelujah! He went in thinking it would take a while to go over everything but they talked to him for about five minutes. They asked if he wanted the job, told him pay and after doing a background check and drug test, they would discuss everything else. Well, the guy who has been doing everything went out of town after their meeting so Brian still doesn't know when or really if he will start this job. Hopefully he'll be back tomorrow and get the ball rolling!
I feel like I'm growing huge already and I have three months left! I have little legs poking my ribs all the time, which is actually kind of fun right now. He's still little enough I'm not super uncomfortable but now his movements make my stomach move. Its so fun to watch. This is the best part of pregnancy for me, right about 25-32 weeks. Baby is small enough but moves a lot, and I'm feeling better. Its great. Moving and the stress of everything has made the contractions more often but I had this with Ethan too. Its just the way we roll here :) And I'm needing to find a new doctor. I really don't want to drive up to Logan, in labor, in a snow storm, around Christmas. I am looking into a few options and will hopefully have someone soon.
Moving is hard but I'm just really glad we've had the help and support of our families. My mom has been great. She took us in with open arms! We hope not to be here much longer, not because of her but because we like to be on our own. I just had to publicly thank my mother for everything she has done for us. She is the best and we love you!!
Also, thank you to everyone who has helped us through this hard time. Life has thrown some curve balls at us lately and we really appreciate all the help everyone's given us. It has made everything bearable so thank you!!
I don't have any pictures because my camera cord is packed in some random box in my mother's basement so when we move again, I will post pictures. I promise. That is all for now but I will be better at updating, seeing as how I have internet access again! Yay!
