Oh Wow

I need to update, badly. We have had a hectic last few weeks and things have changed drastically. Ok, not so dramatic but we have had some changes in our lives and when I get a longer minute, I will update with pictures.

Biggest change: Brian has a new job. He quit Lowe's after learning some information he didn't feel was right. He didn't have a job when he quit but had interviewed for a couple. There was one in Orem that he was hoping to get and he got really far in the interviewing process but after his last interview, never heard from them again. Seriously. They didn't call, email or text to tell him if he got the job or not. Talk about bad communication skills. So after a few weeks of not hearing from them, Brian gave up trying to contact them and took a job with a company called Traeger Grills. They are a company that sells specialty grills that use wood pellets to cook. They have flavored wood that smokes your food to taste that way. Its actually a really awesome grill and I can't wait to eat something off of one. Brian has raved about them since he did his training and every meal was cooked on it. So they have begged Brian to come work for them ever since he sent in his video application back in June. He finally took them up on their offer and he is loving it. He is finally doing his probationary sales show in South Ogden and is on his last day. Then he takes off to do his own show on Thursday and will be gone for 10 days. 10 days on, 10 days off. That is their work schedule. Wonderful huh? They do trade shows in Costcos across the country and they last 10 days. Brian will be doing his first show in Arizona and is pretty excited about it, except the whole being away from his family for 10 days. That is going to be difficult to say the least. I have definitely gotten used to having Brian home, helping with the kids. Going 10 days with absolutely no breaks might make me go crazy but we can do it. Its really good money and then he'll be home for 10 days with no work. Worth it right? I'll let you know after the 10 days.

Ethan is such a stud in so many ways and is such a stinker in as many ways. He just loves his brother, to death! And always wants to make him laugh. It is the cutest thing. I seriously can't wait for Brayden to get bigger so they can play together. Ethan knows most of his letters and has conquered colors. He is so funny about learning new things. It definitely has to be on his own time and terms. He talks so much, and so well. You can understand most of what he is saying. I love it! He has also started asking why, for everything. Which is not so cute sometimes but he is learning so much that way. He pretends now. The other night, we were in his room playing and he ran to turn off the light saying we were going to sleep. So we put our heads down and snored. Then a minute later Ethan stands up and asks "Where's Kevin?" He then proceeded to search for Kevin, the bird from Up. He loves that movie and was acting some of it out that night. I couldn't stop laughing. He is such a sweet boy, full of imagination. Still not potty trained but I'm not worried. He is showing absolutely no interest. Like I said, his timing and terms.

Brayden is getting so big, so fast. He is now 8 months old and I have no idea where those 8 months have gone. He is just about crawling. He rolls everywhere! He is now in 12 months clothes. His first word was mama, which just about made me cry. I love hearing him say it. Melts my heart! He also says dada now like crazy. Brayden loves his brother, no matter what. He laughs at EVERYTHING Ethan does, even if it is him yelling at Brayden for being too loud. I think it is so cute. Those two make me feel so happy/frustrated/crazy/tired/loved. I love my boys so much!

As for me, I have just been loving having Brian home with us. He has made my life so much easier with our boys. My birthday happened to fall in the middle of Brian's training so he was gone for it. Which was awful. It was just another day with my kids acting like crazies and I was really missing my husband. But birthdays aren't that special when your older anyway, right? I have really enjoyed our summer but seriously cannot wait for fall to come. I love everything about fall. The weather, the smells, the food, the holidays. I get so excited just writing this! Can't wait.

When I get a few more minutes, there will be pictures. I hope everyone has had a wonderful summer!

Yes we seriously do need to get together soon! How about as soon as the weather is nice enough to go to a park we can meet up! I am glad to hear your family is doing well! It is fun to compare the differences in our kids because they are so close in age!
